Information - On this site there will be a series of changing commentaries on books from notable readers. Articles will be written by professors, book editors and others. Our goal is to have new features every week, commenting on or reviewing books. Click on the links above for current articles. Check back regularly for new articles and reviews. We also intend to provide annotated bibliographies for your use. Current bibliographies include ones on biblical commentaries. Others are in the works and will appear over time.

New Books - Our new book inventory is approximately 100,000 books, with regular additions. The books are scholarly, focusing on religion/theology, western philosophy and history. We can also order any new book in any field, so if you do not find what you want, send us an e-mail.

Used Books - Our database also contains an ever-changing inventory of used, out-of-print books. Our total inventory of used books numbers 60,000. These book are available from either The Archives Bookshop, located in Pasadena CA, or Windows Booksellers, located in Eugene OR.

Book Search - Read about a book you want buy? Use our convenient search mechanism to determine what we have available in both new or used. If the book is not presently in stock, send us an e-mail and we will try to find it for you.

How to use the Site - The site is organized into five basic fields of study, as shown on the links above. Click on any of the links to go to the resources and bibliographies for that field. The links at the left will take you to the current featured article. The links at the lower left will take you to essays written by scholars discussing books they have found to be helpful.
